My account has been rather quiet as of late, hasn't it? If you're thinking that I'm suffering from another artist's block, then think again. I've been playing an MMORPG called Fiesta Online far too excessively. Well, no, not entirely. Actually, I've been drawing a lot more than I usually do considering it's summer -- I spend my summers playing video games, you see. xD All of the sketches I want to show to the world are piling up on my desk or in my folders (not the virtual ones).

However, they won't be piled up for much longer. We're finally going to buy a scanner, and I pestered my parents a lot for that, haha. Unfortunately, we won't be getting it till next month, because of the money they spent to pay for the course I'm taking on Adobe Photoshop. Yush, Toku is at last able to do some decent CG-ing! Of course, I'm still learning and have a LONG road left to tread. I also need to get my hands on a copy of Photoshop for my own PC (since I've been using the school's comp). They gave me a thick manual too. ^o^

Okay, next is the new stuff I'll be using for my art. I bought a pack of Lyra markers. They're not as good as Copic or Prismacolor markers, but they're alright and do a decent job. At least they don't bleed. Also, I've learned another style of shading hair. This one gives it a metallic effect -- you'll be seeing this in the stuff I upload soon.

That's it for now, I guess. I suppose I'll be more active once I get that scanner and finish the lessons. Until then!
